Internet Failover

For some businesses, this is the most important feature to the IT infrastructure of their business. Especially for those clients who rely on software and databases that are stored in the “Cloud.” By not having the physical files that are worked on within the infrastructure of the internal office, then losing the Internet connection because your Internet Service Provider (ISP) dropped the ball takes you completely out of business.

This problem can only be solved by purchasing additional Internet connections from at least one different ISP.

Install & Manage Direct Infiltration Prevention – Physical Firewall Devices

An add-on benefit if already considering Internet Failover service as the same hardware is required to achieve both features.

Can provide a customized set of features any business may require. Whether that service is delivered at the time of Installation or is providing Management services after the installation project is complete, designed especially to prevent the ability for outside entities to gain access to any system within the network infrastructure.

Manage and Protect Remote Access to Private Network

There are many methods of gaining Remote Access to a Private Network.

Are you prepared for the consequences if someone got in?
What would that even mean?

There is a significant level of responsibility that lies in the lap of the client when it comes to protecting against unauthorized access to the Private Network. All the security in the world is not going to stop someone who socially engineered their way into breaking a single password for login credentials to your network.

Also, if the client installs a third party software onto their computer there is a chance that someone has gained access to their network. So all software installed on a company computer should be disclosed as a precaution against system wide corruption or data breach.

All Cloud Remote Access software and accounts should be disclosed and safeguarded from unauthorized access.

IT Department Services & Documentation

Priority Services Contract

Are you afraid that one day your computer systems will crash and put you out of business until they can be fixed?
What happens if you can’t find someone to get there until the next day?
How much money does your business stand to lose during that time?

These are questions that only each business owner can answer, but you better know the answer.
What if you could receive a guarantee that an IT professional could arrive no less than 4 hours from the time of your call, if not immediately?

Now you can have peace of mind with a Silvercube Solutions Priority Service Contract.

This is a monthly contract which will guarantee that if a technician can’t be there immediately one will get there in less than 4 hours from the time of your call.

Besides receiving priority service for your needs, this contract acts as a retainer of our services for that month and work provided will be deducted from that monthly retainer at our normal business rates. This does mean that there could be months were your total technology expenses will exceed the amount that your pre-paid Priority Service Contract provides retainer for. That is because you are pre-paying for Priority Service. All other clients that do not pre-pay for Priority Service are provided with the first available time slot, which is typically within a 24 to 48 hour window. It doesn’t mean that we can’t provide same day service to those clients; it’s simply that we can’t guarantee it. Also, not all technology expenses that are incurred by the client qualify to be credited against the pre-paid retainer from their Priority Service Contract. That contract only credits against Labor provided by our company and never credits against labor charged from another Vendor or hardware or software purchases.

**Flat Rate fee regardless of business size – $150/mo

IT Hardware & Software Inventory

A one-time service provided at normal onsite labor rates, which provides our company the necessary time to gather insight and evaluate the current conditions of your IT infrastructure to properly provide you with reasonably accurate Estimates for future IT related projects or troubleshooting.

Authorization of allowing this time will have a direct impact on future time necessary for troubleshooting and repairs.

Completion of this service provides the delivery of physical and digital forms of media documenting all of the agreed upon IT features requested by the client.

It can then be decided if the Documentation is best to be maintained by the client and/or Silvercube, customer discretion is required.

**Estimate can be provided but service will be charged for actual time.
**Onsite Labor will be required – $90/hr
**Shop Labor may be required – $65/hr

Document Credentials for all Company Accounts Internal & External

Often found to take longer than originally estimated.

Is meant to include any hosted services related to domain, website, and/or email accounts in addition to any other technology related services.

Completion of this service provides the delivery of physical and digital forms of media documenting all of the agreed upon IT features requested by the client.

It can then be decided if the Documentation is best to be maintained by the client and/or Silvercube, customer discretion is required.

**Inventory Checklist project required prior to service.
**Estimate can be provided but service will be charged for actual time.
**Onsite Labor will be required – $90/hr
**Shop Labor may be required – $65/hr

Create New/Old Employee Procedures for Company Access

Ensure prompt preparation for New Employees in order to provide them all the tools required to learn the job from day one. Also, ensures necessary access to necessary secure files is granted and limited based on necessity.

It is essential to provide prompt notification to our company if conditions allow, for when employees will be removed so as to allow us to immediately remove opportunities for that person to become disgruntled and irreparably damage the infrastructure of your company.

Completion of preparation for this service provides the delivery of physical and digital forms of media documenting all of the agreed upon IT features requested by the client.

It can then be decided if the Documentation is best to be maintained by the client and/or Silvercube, customer discretion is required.

Documentation provided in an easy enough manner to understand so that it affords the client every opportunity for an employee to complete these procedures if necessary.

Disaster Prevention Planning

Scenarios could include loss of Internet, loss of access to company files, Server, and/or applications, and other company specific scenarios.
Completion of preparation for this service provides the delivery of physical and digital forms of media documenting all of the agreed upon IT features requested by the client.

It can then be decided if the Documentation is best to be maintained by the client and/or Silvercube, customer discretion is required.

Documentation provided in an easy enough manner to understand so that it affords the client every opportunity for an employee to complete these procedures if necessary.

Hosting Services Evaluations & Conversions

If you want to determine if your current standards of operation are sufficient to efficiently complete the necessary business functions through your current use of Technology, our team can competently evaluate the advantages and disadvantages to your current operation.

Internet Domain Ownership Transfers

If website, email, and/or domain services were previously purchased, the result could require the transfer of ownership with the Registar of the domain. Not always put under the client’s name but sometimes under the previous vendor’s name.

Requires at least limited cooperation from the previous vendor.

Email Account Management

Whether you possess an Internal Exchange Server, hosted Exchange services, hosted email accounts through your purchased domain, or just free services from any email provider we can provide you all the potential services necessary related to those accounts.

This can include the Documentation of all email accounts and credentials for access, including described steps to find the necessary access to add, remove, and/or forward accounts.

Annual Technology Report

Determine whether the status quo is the desire for the coming year and define what that amounts to in dollars and cents related to hardware vs. labor, onsite services vs. shop services.

Provide documentation showing troubleshooting history, project history and progress, and provide a recommendation on priorities to consider for the coming year.

**Charge for time of scheduled appointment.
**Request that all necessary decision makers attend this meeting.

 

Project Management

New Construction & Remodeling

Ensure that your construction project includes the necessary considerations in regards to network access and availability.

We can work with your General Contractor or other vendors that are planning the power and network mapping for voice and data locations in order to provide the desired outcome for your network.
Any company network security starts with the physical wire installations for power, voice, and data.
Hoping to have a Server closet complete with all the network hardwired homeruns located in the closet with sufficient power?

Does your electrician who is wiring that power to the Server closet receive from the technology vendor who is installing your networking hardware the wattage requirements for all of the equipment to be installed in that Server closet?

Don’t forget to include IT Networking in your Construction Project!

General Contracting for Physical Technology Installations, Modifications, & Repairs

We do not provide service to physically install networking cable runs. We have preferred partners that provide the physical installations and multiple vendors can be recommended to compete for the best bid. We can be hired to manage the project and properly evaluate the estimates and proposals from the other potential vendors required to complete the project.

In our experience, a technical perspective is required to guarantee that multiple vendors aren’t proposing to duplicate work.

Our team at Silvercube is educated in the necessary methods necessary to test the service of other vendors ensuring that corners weren’t cut and results are tested and proven to be accurate.

**Every project is custom. Free Evaluation required prior to any Estimate for Hardware & Labor to be provided by Silvercube. Collaboration may be required with other vendors that may impede or prevent the timely completion of our proposed service.

i. Server Needs Assessment
Determine if a Server is even necessary to maintain for your internal office network.
Does your business need remote access to the private internal office network?
What features and roles are currently being provided by your Server?
What potential benefits could result from efficiently repairing or modifying the state of the features and roles currently being provided by your Server?
Can we just maintain the status quo?
Always a yes, just understand we have a duty to make you aware of any and all liabilities that we become aware of to protect your safety and ours.
Are there any cheaper options to do pretty much the same stuff we’re doing right now?
**May require significant Research time on our shop Servers to evaluate software performance.

Workgroup to Domain Conversion for Added Security Feature Options

For those businesses interested in increasing the overall security and control unauthorized access to sensitive company information.

New Company Software Evaluation, Installation, & Implementation

i. New Software Evaluation
We provide services to properly evaluate any potential software before installing the proposed software on our shop Servers and testing performance and functionality.
**Estimate only to be provided after the completion of an Inventory Checklist project and any other Documenting services.

ii. New Software Installation
Before chancing a disaster when it comes to Implementing the New Software company-wide, we recommend to install the proposed software on one of our shop Servers designed for testing purposes. This way we can stress test the physical requirements of the software compared to the equipment it will be run from. Access can be leased to the customer to personally test or provide for an employee of the client to thoroughly vet the proposed software. Can be provided through local installation or remote access to a Server hosted in our shop.
**Estimate provided for our Labor to test the physical performance of the software can be provided only after a proper Evaluation service has been completed.
**Depending on customer preference, separate Estimates can be provided to compare cost for leasing remote access or providing physical installation of testing Server.

iii. New Software Implementation
Now that the software has been thoroughly vetted, we can proceed with the Implementation of that software company wide.
